• 1995 to present - Founder and President of the International Capoeira Angola Foundation (ICAF), a non-profit organization formally incorporated in Washington DC in March 1997.
• 1995 to present - Capoeira workshop leader and lecturer throughout the US, Brazil, and Europe.
• 1993 to present - Capoeira Angola instructor for children and adults at the Ausar Auset Society, The George Washington University, Joe's Movement Emporium, Gold's Gym, and the Brazilian American Cultural Institute.
• 1984 - 1993 - Capoeira Master, Grupo de Capoeira Angola Pelourinho, Salvador, Bahia.
• 1992 - 1993 - Instructor, Projecto Axe, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Taught Capoeira to homeless "street children" of Salvador.
• 1991 - 1992 - Assistant choreographer, percussionist and dancer, "Oba Oba" North American Tour, including six months at the Marquis Theater on New York's Broadway.
